Fire Sprinkler Fitter

Minimum of 5 consecutive years of experience as a Sprinkler Fitter

Strong work ethic and a commitment to honesty and integrity

Effective communication skills

Must be reliable, responsible and committed to fulfilling assigned duties

Self-starter and have the ability to work with limited supervision

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to pass drug testing

Ability to pass a background check

Valid driver's license and a clean driving record


Overhead pipe installation, including steel overhead sprinkler piping, wet, dry, pre-action and

deluge, fire pump, standpipe and hose stations. Install and service underground pipe including private service fire mains, hydrants, and underground control valves. Install and service valves, backflow prevention devices, and have a general understanding of sprinkler system alarms. Fabricating, assembling, installing and maintaining piping and equipment for fire sprinkler systems. Inspect installation of equipment such as valves, pumps, and backflow preventers to ensure system meets required standards and is in working order. Inspect, examine, and test installed systems using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing or other methods. Lay out full scale drawings of pipe systems and understanding the prints provided for the said project.

Must have the ability to complete the required lift training, OSHA training and any other required company safety training certifications.


The typical work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
